what is the magnolia society :: sweater club?

the magnolia society :: sweater club is a subscription based club membership and a great opportunity to space out payments over a larger period of time for sweater quantities of fine yarns. each club member registers for a subscription to the club and is then automatically debited once a month for six months in installments (which corresponds to the size range and location selected) for the purchased yarns via paypal. in turn, each member will receive a magnolia society package of yarn to knit/crochet and enjoy in three installments during the 6 month duration of their subscription term, 3 packages total.

subscribers to the sweater club are a fun group of people. members are able to post pictures of their packages and projects on the magnolia society :: sweater club group here on ravelry as well as the flickr group found here.

What will my shipments consist of each month?

october - eyre yarn shipment
november - payment ( for subscribers only)
december - tosh merino yarn shipment
january - payment (for subscribers only)
february - tosh worsted yarn shipment
march - payment (for subscribers only)

What are the sizes and yardages available?

there are five sizes available::

xs (x-small) = included are 10 (1200 yrds) skeins eyre,  6 (1260 yrds) skeins of tosh merino, 5 (1125 yrds) skeins of tosh worsted.

s (small) = included are 10 (1200 yrds) skeins of eyre, 6 (1260 yrds) skeins of tosh merino and 5 (1125 yrds) skeins of tosh worsted.

m (medium) = included are 12 (1440 yrds) skeins of eyre, 7 (1470 yrds) skeins of tosh merino and 6 (1260 yrds) skeins of tosh worsted.

l (large) – included are 14 (1680 yrds) skeins of eyre, 8 (1680 yrds) skeins of tosh merino and 7 (1575 yrds) skeins of tosh worsted.

xl (Extra large) = included are 14 (1680 yrds) skeins of eyre, 8 (1680 yrds) skeins of tosh merino and 7 (1575 yrds) skeins of tosh worsted.

xx-l  (extra, extra large) = included are 15 (1800 yrds) skeins of eyre, 9 (2025 yrds) skeins of tosh merino and 8 (1800 yrds) skeins of tosh worsted.

xxx-l (triple extra large)  = included are 17 (2040) skeins of eyre, 10 (2250) skeins of tosh merino and 9 (2025) skeins of tosh worsted.

What are the terms of my subscription? 

your subscription to the magnolia society :: sweater club will be for a term of 6 months. madelinetosh will send out renewal notices for another 6 month term 1 month prior to the end of your current subscription. each monthly shipment will be sent with tracking information via usps. all yarns shipped during the course of your subscription will be non refundable. should you move during your subscription term your subscription shipments will be halted until you can provide a new address for the shipment of your society yarns.
